December 23, 2018, even though the Dark & Lovely Reviving Colors (Radiant Black #391) lasted 3 weeks (has no peroxide or ammonia), I still needed something that would last at least 5 weeks.
So, I tried the Dark and Lovely Fade Resist Natural Black #372 today. I was afraid it might take my hair out because it does have peroxide but no ammonia. I have never before been able to use a permanent hair dye, not even if a professional did it. My hair would be dry and brittle and break off. Thankfully, I still have my hair, and it didn’t make my hair dry or brittle as of December 30, 2018. I will see how long this lasts and let you know my thoughts.
February 17, 2019, the Dark and Lovely Fade Resist Natural Black #372 still looks good after 8 weeks. I saw just a teeny bit of gray in the front this past week. I’m so glad I tried this, and my hair didn’t fall out. In fact, it continues to grow. Dark and Lovely has infused 3 fruit oils in this product: shea, avocado, and olive oil that help nourish and protect your natural hair. I won’t recolor my roots until absolutely necessary.
