Macadamia Professional Weightless Repair Leave-in Conditioning Mist

Updated: Apr 22, 2023

February 29, 2020, I used the new leave-in Macadamia Professional Weightless Repair Leave-in Conditioning Mist in place of Macadamia Nourishing Leave-in Cream.

My hair doesn't like creams. My hair always flakes if I use one. The Macadamia Professional Weightless Repair Leave-in Conditioning Mist worked perfectly. It is a clear liquid which keeps it from turning white, and would probably work best on fine textured hair. I didn’t have any flaking this time and my hair actually looks moisturized. No more cream leave-ins for me, EVER!. I’m going to name my method the LO (Leave-in, Oil) method.

I also started using heat with my deep conditioners (Hot Head), then cold water “brrrr!!” (as cold as you can stand) to rinse out my deep conditioners. I talked about the Hot Head in a previous post, but it is worth mentioning again. It is a flaxseed filled microwavable deep conditioning heat cap. I have had mine about and it is still going strong. I'm not tied to a hair dryer, and I can do other things while deep conditioning my hair. You won't regret buying it. As for the cold water, it was hard to do, but it helped lock in the moisture and I will continue to do this step. I only have to moisturize my hair 1-2 times a week when I rinse with cold water.

Wash-N-Go Regimen

1) Wash hair with Macadamia Rejuvenating Shampoo

2) Apply Macadamia Deep Repair Masque (rinse in cold water)

Mist (clear, not creamy)

4) Apply Aloe Vera, and Argan oil

5) Apply Camille Rose Curl Maker (works best on soaking wet hair)

6) Apply Curls Goddess Curls Botanical Gelle

7) Finger rake hair in sections

8) Let hair air dry
