March 9, 2019, I have finally found my hair care wash day regimen that works with the Curl Definition 3 Step System (https://www.curldefinition.com).
I was using the Curl Primer for Coils but I found it left the ends of my hair hard. This made it hard to lift my hair at the roots the next day for shaping. If I kept doing this, I felt like my hair would start breaking. By the end of the week, it would be flaky, and the flakes were wet and sticky. I tried this first because my hair is coily but didn’t consider my hair texture at the time.
So, I decided to try the Light Cream Hold Coco Aloe Soft Hold. This was so much better. I like the softer hold and lifting my roots the next day was much easier. This might have worked better because my hair has a coily, low porosity, fine texture. I thought this cream was for more curly girls, but it worked on my hair too. You just have to see what works for your hair even if it says it is for a different texture.
