October 28, 2018, I used a new product called Cantu Shea Butter Define & Shine Custard. I am trying to find one that gives my hair definition and less frizz.
This product is the best I have found to date. I usually would have to use the curl sponge to get definition, but I didn’t need to use it this time. I’m glad because my hair is growing and I was worried about what hairstyle I was going to wear now.
Oh My God! I have found a product that defines my curls. I used the Cantu Shea Butter Define & Shine Custard, along with my oil mixture and Curls Goddess CURLS Botancial Gelle.
The Custard smells delicious and has a watery consistency. My hair seems to like gels better than creams. Even though it defined my curls, I have been reading about certain chemicals in it that may not be good to use. I will need to do some more research on this.
The Gelle helps keep my hair from reverting back because I sweat in my head when it’s hot and humid. My hair is hard but it’s worth my hair not getting fuzzy after a few hours in the heat. It does seem to ward of the humidity better than other gels I have used.
